As a member of the of the HR Risk & Compliance Equal Employment Programs team, you will work with HR policy, process, and system owners to manage complex global equal employment, pay equity, affirmative action, and government reporting requirements and issues.
The Equal Employment Programs team includes other HR Compliance experts with regulatory, legal, and Human Resources experience.
The team consults on equal employment and pay strategies along with managing projects that use consulting, data, and advising skills necessary to implement the Company's Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and Affirmative Action Programs and prepare/defend OFCCP desk audit submissions.
The team prepares data and analysis for diversity hiring, federal and state contract compliance, and ongoing business line consulting.
You can expect to work on multiple projects at once - playing a primary role in creating and deploying strategies and solutions to maintain our DEI, EEO, and affirmative action compliance programs.
Specific responsibilities include:
Earn and maintain business partners' trust as a thought leader and subject matter expert Monitor federal, state, and province employment regulations, perform risk assessments, and recommend actions Direct programs supporting Amazon's affirmative action, equal employment, and related obligations and initiatives Consult with legal, HR policy, process, business, and system owners to build and deploy risk-based controls Direct and execute gap and root cause analysis of employment processes in support of DEI initiatives, Amazon's affirmative action program, government reporting, and related programs Monitor known and emerging risks, measure internal control effectiveness, and work with business/support teams to develop action items to remediate identified risks Execute on-site and virtual compliance audits, draft audit reports detailing methodology, results, and remediation plans Generate written narratives and statistical analysis on emerging/active risk topics for senior leaders that educate and facilitate discussions including the potential business impact(s) and range of risk- based recommendations Develop and deploy training to recruiting, management, and HR staff on programs and policy Travel up to 10%, as necessary.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
