Sr. Product Manager, Solutions Architecture Customer Engagements

The AWS Solutions Architecture Customer Engagements team owns products and tools that AWS Solutions Architects (SAs) use to build, discover, deliver, and measure hands-on learning experiences like Workshops, ImmersionDays, and Gamedays, which drive customer adoption of AWS Services.
Our systems improve the quality and effectiveness of Solutions Architect-led, hands-on customer events, reducing preparation time and making the events more impactful for customers.
We are looking for a customer obsessed Product Manager with business process experience, educational acumen, strong organizational skills, and interest in working cross-functionally within AWS to productize SA Customer Engagements, combining and simplifying offerings to make them more coherent.
Our team is growing and taking on new challenges, allowing you to have an impact and shape ideas and the way the team operates.
Some of our systems are mature and need new features to cater to evolving requirements.
Listening to our customers, identifying their changing needs, and reflecting those in roadmaps and features, then working with the Engineering team on implementation, will be an important part of the role.
Other initiatives are new and experimental; you will need to be happy working with uncertainty and making decisions based on incomplete information.
In this role you will work with AWS partners, Solutions Architects, Tech Leaders, and subject matter experts across AWS, ensuring content is aligned to customer outcomes.
Accuracy, relevance, and speed of delivery are critical attributes for our offerings, and you will be coordinating plans and schedules to ensure continual improvement.
The role requires strategic thinking and problem solving, and strong communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have a strong bias for action, and not be afraid to dig into the details.
A successful candidate will possess a blend of business and technical capabilities, the ability to drive a big-picture vision and the attention to detail that transforms vision into a reality.
Roles and
Responsibilities:
Provide influence, direction and guidance to ensure the development and release of high quality customer engagement offerings, building towards more coherent products that are simple for AWS Solutions Architects and customers to use.
Coordinate cross-functional resources to review project deliverables and ensure completion of projects.
Own roadmaps and feature, ensuring engagement, planning, and execution.
Recommend improvements that reduce time to delivery while continuing to provide engaging experiences for AWS customers.
Review performance of the portfolio for quality, accuracy, and relevance.
Aggregate and provide continuous improvement feedback to content contributors based on workshop feedback.
Identify process improvement strategies to facilitate the creation and production of technical hands-on labs.

We are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion.
We have twelve employee-led affinity groups, reaching 40,000 employees in over 190 chapters globally.

Amazon's culture of inclusion is reinforced within our 14 Leadership Principles, which remind team members to seek diverse perspectives, learn and be curious, and earn trust.

Instead, we're happy to offer a flexible schedule so you can have a more productive and well-balanced life--both in and outside of work.
Mentorship & Career GrowthOur team is dedicated to supporting new members.
We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we're building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship.
