Senior Patient Care Technician - Progressive Care

Job LocationThe Senior Patient Care Technician position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana in the Progressive Care unit at Community Hospital North.
Job Duties
May perform some or all of basic patient care needs such as, bathing, feeding, vitals, activities of daily living, and transportation of patients
Exposure to blood and body fluids is possible
Any additional unit based duties
Experience
2 years of experience in a similar position in a health care facility
Education
High School or GED Equivalent
License
CPR certification
Skills
Strong computer skills (Windows environment).
Strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills are required.
Demonstrates ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task.
Able to take direction well, but also be self-directed and motivated.
Requires a high degree of responsibility, responsiveness.

Must be available for one week of full-time training

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
