We are looking for a dynamic HR professional to join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a HR Business Partner aligned to Professional Services (ProServe) teams supporting Public and Private Sector clients on their cloud journey.
The role can be based out of our any AWS Corporate hub with preferences in our headquarter locations (Arlington, VA and Seattle, WA).
Other hubs include Boston, MA, Dallas, TX, and NYC, NY.
Flexibility in location available based on individual experience and proximity to customers.
In this position, you will help your business leaders to develop and execute HR priorities that enable business priorities and foster the employee experience.
It requires strong leadership and team collaboration across global leadership teams, as well as Amazon wide projects and HR initiatives.
We are looking for a seasoned professional who will partner with business leaders on strategic people initiatives, has the ability to implement and optimize HR programs and processes, as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions aligned with labor relations, HR policies, processes.
This is a true business partner role providing an opportunity to be both hands-on and strategic, providing human resources expertise in the areas of coaching/development, organizational design, succession planning, talent assessment and development, compensation, employee relations, and much more.
You will be embedded with the business, and will work closely with its leadership team on organizational and people related issues.
In addition, you will be instrumental in initiating and driving HR programs/initiatives within the organization.
Key job responsibilitieso Develop and implement people plans and solutions in order to achieve people initiatives and deliver results.
o Partner with senior leaders and their leadership teams to develop the talent strategy and actions that support our tremendous growth, and build an environment where employees can thrive and grow.
o Lead talent projects by working closely with specialist central HR teams, as well as matrixed site and international HR colleagues, keeping the right focus on HR needs in areas such as performance management, talent acquisition, career development, diversity and compensation/rewards.
o Serve as a consultant and coach to key leaders and engage in strategic planning meetings to translate business needs into HR plans.
o Partner with the business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment and development.
o Analyze business metrics including data on retention and employee experience in order to present and recommend systemic improvements.
o Partner with the business to lead reviews focused on succession planning, talent development and organizational health priorities.
o Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling.
o Work with line managers and employees to address various employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests.
o Partner with the AWS talent acquisition team to build systemic and scalable recruiting programs to create a sustainable pipeline of talent.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
