Our engineers take on problems spanning various domains, including network engineering, hardware design, process optimization, process documentation and work standardization.
The Tech Deployment Engineer will leverage their leadership and technical capabilities to lead technical installations in the field, identify and manage risks, resolve issues and escalate where appropriate to drive new Amazon Physical Retail Store builds to successful completion.
Through engagement with various internal teams, external vendors, and key suppliers, you will deliver in-store technology on time.
You will play an active role in implementing business and functional deliverables in partnership with other technology leaders within the team.
You will help solve a variety of technical challenges and mentor other engineers.
You will work with peers to consistently raise the bar by reducing cost, complexity, and ambiguity out of the new store launch process.
Additionally, you will play an active role in defining the installation processes for our technologies in partnership with other technical teams within the organization.
You will support a variety of business initiatives in different regions.
You will work on challenging situations daily and given the size of this initiative, you'll have the opportunity to work with multiple technical teams at Amazon in different locations.
Be prepared to develop a solution and then scale it to meet the business needs.
You should be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity that's higher than most projects and relish the idea of solving problems that may have never existed.
The pay range for this position in Colorado is $67,400 - 92,700; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
